bending 7/8 tubing?

how can i bend ss. tubing for a railing around the motor well,maybe mount a couple of rod holders to or a cutting board,any ideas?

does anyone know if an o-ring belongs on the top of the shaft.It looks like a groove the ring will fit in.its right under the splines,my johnson manual dosent show it,or the parts manual.but the omc...

i am having trouble with steering hoses.when i turn the wheel sometimes they bend or kink where they are supposed to slide into the boat.theres enough hose & they dont hit anything.any way to stiffen...
