bending 7/8 tubing?
how can i bend ss. tubing for a railing around the motor well,maybe mount a couple of rod holders to or a cutting board,any ideas?

driveshaft o-ring?
does anyone know if an o-ring belongs on the top of the shaft.It looks like a groove the ring will fit in.its right under the splines,my johnson manual dosent show it,or the parts manual.but the omc...

I soaked it overnite & tried the visegrips,no...
I soaked it overnite & tried the visegrips,no good.i tried your trick.welded a 1/4 in.washer to the stud & then welded a 5/16 nut on to that.the bolt was stainless so it broke the first time,second...

hyd steering.
i am having trouble with steering hoses.when i turn the wheel sometimes they bend or kink where they are supposed to slide into the boat.theres enough hose & they dont hit anything.any way to stiffen...

i'am back,thanks guys,i have the same control mulv has..it seems that lever advances the timing for warm up.or the manual says so.thnx for all the help.

i tried to pull the handle out,no good,i guess it only has the advance lever for warm up.
