Re: hammer a back seat

I had the same seat in my 34' Sea Ray. *Really solid and it weighs a TON. *I don't think it'll fit across the beam of a V20 though. *My 34' had a 12' beam, so there was plenty of room. That's a great...

Re: Is a 1982 V20 cuddy with a Yam 4 stroke 115 ok

BS, define weak motor. I have a 115 four stroke Yamaha on a 23 Carolina Skiff semi v and I top out at 42 mph. That's what I got with my 86 V and a 2000 150 hp Merc. My results were the same...

Absolutely genius. But since I don't drink, could I be a ref. Better yet, how about that doughnut pong table? I can see it all now, leagues, uniforms, rule books even ESPN coverage. Hammer, you...

Re: Crash and Burn

Hammer, make the fuel system 100% and don't spend more money for a motor. Sell it w/o power. With fuel prices a 250 might turn off some potential buyers. Don't filll the gas tank, just leave it...

Re: fuel /watersepperator filter

Sean, if you have an I/O you are supposed to use a solid metal racor rather than a clear plastic one since they're usually located inside the bilge on I/O models. Outboard racors are typicially...

Re: fuel /watersepperator filter

The boat couldn't leave the marina. The marina pumped all 100 gallons from the boat, let it settle and removed the water from the gas. They also paid for the carb rebuild. Had alot of boats that...

Re: fuel /watersepperator filter

A human hair is 50-70 microns. A spin on filter is not only for tank junk but water. A racor has a drain for water removal. You northern guys especially will condense water in your tanks if you don't...

Re: DONATIONS?

MJ, if the funds need to be replaced, maybe we could have an auction or sale of stuff we don't use and donate the cash to the site. Maybe not just boating/fishing items. Maybe a separate For Sale...

Re: Newbie from Curacao needs advice

Check the weight on the motor. I believe its a little over 600 lbs. If you sea trial the boat, check the water level on the stern. You don't need water rolling over the transom when you're backing...

Re: Screwin Around

Next time he stops by, please have him put your fenders inside your original boat. Poor thing looks like she's been abandoned. Hammer, you're a LEO, isn't there some law about leaving them overboard?...
