Finally figured this sucker out.....after...
Finally figured this sucker out.....after replacing ALL the fuel lines, fuel filter, primer bulb AND rebuilding the carbs....still had the issue.
Then I saw a post talking about the temp sensor...

My concern was more...

My concern was more with if I have to drain hydraulic fluid, or any special issues with seals, etc. for the removal and reinstallation of the motor.

1987 Evinrude 140 Tilt motor replacement
Looking at the SELOC manual - it seems like to replace the trim motor itself is pretty much an unbolt and bolt the new one in place kind of deal.
