Default Kayak Transporting

Stinky posted a pic of his hitch extender which is a simple and effective way of supporting the yak while transporting.
I thought we could share transport ideas here. This is what I came up with. A friend and I welded these racks for the back of my Tacoma. I picked up a slightly used set of Yakima Mako Saddles for the front and a set of Yakima Hully Rollers for the rear. The rear cross bar is removable with a pin if I need to load stuff in the bed when not using the kayak. I just set the bow of the yak on the rollers. Then pick up the stern handle and slide it up into position. Lock the rollers and strap everything down. This way, I can still load my gear in the bed unobstructed with the tailgate closed for security (as in preventing gear from sliding out the back).
It's also very functional for ladders, lumber, fishing rods, what have you.

Hopefully this will give others ideas.
Feel free to add your own ideas and solutions.
