Default mpg

Took some guys to CAT reef to catch Black Sea Bass last Sunday and the boat was amazing. Loaded with 5 grown men, coolers and full fuel we only burned 15 gallons. Round trip was approx 35 miles so wouldn't that mean we got about 2.3-2.5 mph? Loaded down and all I would be very happy with that! Gonna take my wife, who is great with child, out to St. Catherines this weekend to catch whiting. The last time we got to fish together was this time two years ago when she was also great with cild.......We caught 77 BULL whiting off my home waters of St. Simons in a 81 Bonita that I rebuilt. It had a 60 hp evenrude "selectric" POS! The throttle cable broke and I had to hold it open to run while preggers steared the boat home!

Congrats FWB! Yep, that sounds about right. That's exactly what I burn with my 150 yamaha 2 stroker. Only once in heavy seas I got around 2.1. We did around 110 round trip and burned 50 gallons. Otherwise 2.5 is plus or minus.

You've got a great boat. Something to be very proud of. Trailers easy, takes on some pretty skinny water, won't break the bank, has a cuddy for delivering babies....its a pretty well rounded vessel!

Abandone the men who got me back on the water by spring.........never!
I drove past the wreckage yesterday, it was about a quarter mile away from my neighborhood. That little plane came down into some hardwoods in someones front yard,,,,,,bad wreck! My dad used to fly and he has put a couple Cessnas down in the marsh with little problem, but this one missed the marsh,,,,,I didn't here the details of the cause.
