Default Selling my 89 Dually

Got too many irons in the fire...and no water in front of the house at the lake!!

Sole purpose of this boat was to be my cruiser at the lake...bought it a few years ago and fixed it up, put some TLC in it and put it to use.

She is not a show queen, but is very clean, EXTREMELY SOLID, lightly used, and runs like a striped ape.

For the details:

1989 V20 Sportfish Dual Console
1987 Merc 175
Tandem Axle Galvanized Trailer

THE PROS:
No bottom paint, Motor was rebuilt by local Mercury Dealer and has probaly less than 100 hours since, new tilt/trim system installed a little over a year ago, new helm also installed at that same time, currently no electronics or canvas, Upholstery is included and I would probaly rate it at 85%, bearings less than 500 miles, outrigger bases, ran new fuel lines and pulled the tank..no concerns there.

THE CONS:

Have not tackled the accessory wiring...it is intact and not hacked up, just not up to my level, I have not had time to use the boat since last fall...it has a full tank of fuel/oil that has been stabilized and I plan on firing her off this weekend, normally I am fishing at the lake all winter, but we are 11 or so feet low until recently! She does need four new shoes to be road ready, as all I had to do was hook up the tractor and drive the trailer to the ramp at the bottom of the yard...round trip of maybe 2-300 yards, These are on my plan to do prior to selling.

I am trying to represent the boat as fairly as possible, and I am probaly a little more critical than most...I feel as though it would be a fine boat for all but the most scrutinizing buyer and still has a lot of hours left in her as she sits.

In an effort to try and discourage wasting time with lowball/ridiculous offers, understand that I do not NEED to sell the boat, BUT... it is currently one of four. Fishing season is currently upon us and I know that my time will become in greater demand as the first tournament is in about three weeks. That being said, this boat will see the least amount of use and I don't want to have find time to use it just to keep it from sitting.

This is the link to a couple of pictures I had of the boat when I first found this forum...the boat is basically unchanged from the pictures and I will snap some new ones when I go up the the lake house this weekend.

Price is $4800 give or take a hundred or so...it is close to what I have in the boat and I feel it is a very fair price for the condition of boat. I have seen a lot worse go for much more! Please feel free to forward me any comments good or bad, and I will try to answer any questions as objectively and honestly as I possibly can. Thanks in advance!

Boat is located in Chas SC! thanks for the compliments...it is a great boat just too big or too small for what I do most. The Santee Cooper lakes appear to be back on their way to full pool, which will help the interest in this area...perfect platform for catfish and striper fishing and being able to ride in the open lake when it blows up a little...as wide open as Marion and Moultrie are they have a tendency to get rough quick...I have seen waves look much worse than Chas Harbour on numerous occasions.

Again, thanks for the kind words!
