we all know how to butterfly them and throw em on the grill. here is 1 or 3 butters y'all might like.
hot and spicy butter; 1/3 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon (lol) chopped onion 3 or 2 teaspoons (he,he) tabasco 1 teaspoon (not funny anymore) dried thyme 1/4 teaspoon (o.k. now its funny again) tony's scallion butter 1/3 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion tops 1 tablespooon lemon juice 1 teaspooon grated lemon peel 1/2 teaspooon black pepper chili-mustard butter 1/3 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon chopped onion 1 tablespooon dijon mustard 1 teaspooon chili powder i throw the tails down meat side first (plain) for a few. then flip em over and brush the butter on the tail and cook them till thier done. if you dont have a brush you can butter the tail with your spoon (yep, definantly funny again!) while thats cooking i simmer the butter, stirring it ocasionaly with my wood spoon (i falling out my chair, lol) for dipping the tails. you can use a teaspoon or a tablespoon for this. size doesnt matter.(mj gonna kill me!) smokey in here. hope i not the only one laughing! |
