Patience are running thin here today. Cant anything go right. Went to stick in my deck drains, but of course you cant go to any boat store and buy a general deck drain, so I have bar drains. Well I cut the holes in the floor bigger so the new drains would fit, well even with a 90 % elbow on, the drain hits the bottom of the hull.
So now it looks like I need to again find some type of deck drain with a shorter 90 % or relocate my deck drain. But I just finished putting down the new non shid deck paint. So that means speanding more money on buying more deck paint to patch over to holes. But what the hell, I put out a ton of money on hull paint that wouldnt bound to the Interlux. Things dont start getting better, It'll be on Freakin E-Bay and I'll buy a Damm BayLiner !!

Hammer, if your bar drains are like the one's I used, You are going to have to cut the "nipple " shorter. The threaded part was about 3 or 4 inches. I had to cut mine off and leave just enough thread to put the barb 90 on. One hint run the nut all the way up on the nipple so when you cut it shorter, you can unscrew the nut and it will clean the threads for you.

Thanks Willy.
Took a few days off with the paint to clear my head and take my meds before jumping back in. Waiting a call now to see if I can use asprayer this time. Calling Interlux Monday to see if I can use an automotive primer over the interlux barrier coat then repaint. If that fails, bottom paint time :'( :'( :'( :'( Working on installing the new side fish rod holders. Alot bigger, 57 inches. Need to cut out about another foot to fit in.

Yeah, that's crazy talk. I think there should be a rule that only allows using the word Bayliner in posts for the purpose of making fun of them or criticizing them ;D
Hammer, you'll be okay. Don't scare us with talk like that :P

Fish:
Excuse the mess, here is a pic. of the fish rod holders I am sticking in. Dont know the size that others have, but these were bigger, 57", did some cutting, almost done. Notice the lip on the bottom of the rod holder. It needs to sit flush with the deck, so, I need to do abit more grinding to make her look good. Knocked some resin over...of corse into the rod holders. She's cleaned up now and looking better. ;D
