Transom Repair.

I know that I have seen several posts on repair work and replacement to transom. Does anybody rememer the treads and or gallery posts. I want to start getting all the information I can before making an informed brain fart on doing it myself or paying somebody. Anybody know a good glass person in the lower chesapeake bay area. Who is the person in NC that is doing all that work on refurbushing old V-20's
