Default I know it's not a transom rebuild but....

It is a repair none the less

Getting started

Here is the old fuse blowing, leaking a$$ baitwell pump

I put this screen on the old pump to keep debris out, I was told it couldn't be done. It stayed on at 42mph!

After taking the screen off the rest was easy

Took the plastic nut off and cleaned off the old 5200, put the new pump in and secured it, hooked up the hose and wiring and tested it, all okay. Camera battery died, I finished while the battery charged. Subsituted this pic. Hope you don't mind.

Here is the old pump, the pump motor cracked and shorted out and leaked into the bilge.

I know it ain't brain surgery, but dam, I like replies

Great job Franco.

There are people in this world that would have spent $300.00 getting that fixed at a marina.

Now get a job.

Well done Franco get that Reel Crabby tightened up for my trip down And when you are done when you are done with my first mate send her back up, my other two are going on vacation so there is an open slot. She needs to get back to work, I'll send plane fare.

Hammer, I like the flat foredeck on the older V20 CC's, If I ran across one really cheap I may take on another project. I'd convert it to a full transom w/bracket. add a big a s s livebait well, build a binacle as opposed to a console. I have even thought about hawes pipes in the transome
Ya never know.

Willy, when ya coming down, Snook season begins the first!

Well I might have to do some fast talking here, but I have been pretty successful so far, maybe we can twist the Old Codgers arm too. I'll just bring some ear plugs for his snoring ;)
