Default Hydro-foil Engine Add Ons

I am thinking of adding a set of Doel Fins to my engine.

Is it worth the money?
Do they really make a difference?

Racerx,
Keep the trim tabs and foil on, and just ship me that bracket at your cost. Dont want your wife to get mad at ya for keeping your toys lying aroun in the yard.

Thanks MACO,
I will order the cheaper Doel Fin two piece to see if I like it.
Then I may move into the more expensive models.
Heck if the two piece works, then I may just keep them.

It really depends on the boat. I tried one on a couple smaller boats years ago and HATED them. They always nosed the bow to far down through the waves and got me soaked!

I can tell from running it though, my buddy's 16 Hydra-Sports is really gonna benefit from one.

Every hull/motor combo is different. :)

On larger boats it seems to be my experence that if its trimmed properly they are useless.
