Default Hawk vs dove vs Jack Russells

Yesterday, I have my wife lookin' at "Skidboot" video...all of a sudden comotion breaks out 5' outside window...look out and a large hawk has a dove on the ground about to make the kill when two Jack Russells and one Lab charge around the corner...hawk barely makes a get-away, but dove has no chance and meets deimise in the teeth of the two terriers...all happened in a BLINK... :o ...

Yeah, Stinky would post pics of this! AND tell how he planned to cook the dove. ;D

Of course after two terriers got through there was probably not much dove left. ;)

MJ knows what I'm goin' thru tryin' to get phone pics to post...now I find out from Motorola that Verizon DISABLES the function that allows this so I'll have to go thru THEM >:( ... so me and Verizon goin' around...story to be continued... ;) ...

About 6 months ago I saw what I thought to be a perigrine falcon walking to my car at work. Who knows, could've been a hawk?

This thing was attacking a small bird and the little bird was screaming bloody murder! Tweeting his little butt off and all! The big bird was on the ground holding the little bird down and clawing and pecking him. When I walked up he flew about 10 yards away and sat back down behind a tree still pecking and clawing at the lil bird. I snuck up behind the tree and popped out. When I did, the little bird made his getaway, but the big bird was right on his tail feathers! Lil bird was flying a zig zag pattern trying to shake this large predator. They both flew into a holly tree and apparently the lil bird was able to hide b/c the big bird flew to another
tree shortly thereafter.

You should have heard the terror in the lil bird's tweet. It was excrusiating 8)
