Default Fishing Report

;D ;D ;D Ahhh...finally tasted the salt water after a long cold winter! Put the boat in at Paradise Point marina in Sneads Ferry...tested everything in the intracoastal, then headed out the inlet towards a few reefs. First stop was 15 miles out..Seas were a choppy 3 to 4. Boat handled them fine but the skipper was soon chumming! Man, my wife can really stick it to me..she made fun of me all day! Of course, I was the one rigging and doing all the work, even between projectile vomit sessions! Gotta get my sealegs back and definitely need to stay away from Hooters the night before a trip!
Oh yeah...the fishing report... :o Just a few black seabass and a spinner shark. Really wasn't much out and about. Water temps still a little cool.
Going back out next week! 8)

went fishing yesterday for some cod aboard the "Running Late" out at montauk we had 21 fish all keepers. first drift we had 4. the morning was good then the bite stopped till after 1 then the bite was back on . It was great knowing that the cod are on the way back down from the north into our long island waters. My friend runs charters on the "Running Late" go to "Runninglatecharters.com" for more info. also are pictures of our 2003 summer. tuna, shark, cod, tile fish, black fish, wahoo, seabass. there are some great pics :)

Sounds like fun, SG2. :)

Do you have any idea why you stopped catching mid- day? Tide? Current? Wind? Sun? Lunch?
