Default Fished Cape Cod Bay today

I have no pic's from today, I forgot the camera But I was alone in my boat any way.
The good news is that the boat seemed to go just fine and I think the oil injection is fixed!!

The other good news is I caught 6 fish to day!! But no keepers. All were from 24 to 27 inches.
Mac's are gone from the bay. I jiged from Barnstable to Sandwich with no luck.

The trailer works like a dream!!!! But a little to good! I am going to have to put a cleat on the winch post to hold the boat from going off the trailer.
I left the winch strap connected while I backed down but when I went to release it the boat just takes off the trailer!! So I have to wrap the bow rope around the post so I can hold the boat from rolling off so I can disconnect the winch strap. Then I let go the rope and it is like the rollers have ball berrins in them!! It flys right off!

The Bad news is that my friends,Emil & Richey did not have as good as a day. The new to them motor started out great but we never made it 2 miles when the thing shut down on them!! They started to play with it and got it started again but once again they never got that far before it was dead again.
After talking with them and finding out what it was doing I figured that it was the fuel pump.
I had them pump the ball the whole time they were driving and it never quit again!! So all day one sat in the back pumping the ball while the other drove.

The good news is that they guy they bought it from gave it a 30 day warr. and they will be able to get it fixed for nothing.
But they were so disapointed!! And I no how they feel!! It sucks to wait till you have the cash to get it fixed and then when you think your all set you are not!! I have been there and done that, and it anit fun!

But all and all it was a good test day for the both of us!! Because the commercial Fluke starts next Thursday the 10th and if we are going to find **** wrong it is better now then later when we want and need to fish!

Sure felt good to be out there today!! I was so happy to be on the water again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MJ - have you ever used those niner rigs? If you are commercial bassing this year you might want to get a few. You can't beat having 3 keepers on each rod at the same time.
