Default New Flushmount Rod Holders

Snuck down to the dock at lunch today and installed three new rod holders along the transom. One in the center is straight up and down for the bait table and the holders on either side are 15 degree angles outward perpendicular to the centerline. Took a hack like me only about an hour to do.

I used the method recommended in a post on iboats where you drill straight through with a hole saw and then use that hole as a pilot hole to do the angled cut, worked like a charm. One thing though, for those using Perko holders, there is a lip just below the plate that rests on the surface which makes the holder wider! Little extra drilling required to make it go in smooth. I used a 2 1/4" hole saw.

I still need to seal the holes I made and secure them with hardware (of course none included with the holders >:(). I'll take pics when I finish it off.
