Default Reelapeelin's Boat

I was looking through the pictures of your boat and I noticed that you have replaced the two panels in front of the seats, one has a built in tackle box and the other has a radio in it. I was wondering if you made them, and if so, what are they made out of. I have a '77 V20 and want to do the same thing.

I have done the same with my boat!!

I used 3/4 Starboard for the walls in front of the seats, and on the hatch covers on the floor.
I used 1/4 Starboard on the dash. Stuff works great!!

harryg...keep in mind that you're not only adding a panel under the dash, but also SUPPORT for the dash...mine got 3/4" treated ply that wraps into the cuddy about 12 or so inches...built into that is a "stiff leg" that supports the dash from underneath and holds it in place...too high and center window doesn't meet; too low and it won't close...so you gotta hold it in place w/something else, get your measurements, make and install...once I got it made, upholstered it w/ white vinyl, then put it in...glad you liked 'em...takes time, but not hard to do...

Dash is 1/2" Starboard in grey...

Good luck w/yours... ;) ;D...post pics of your progress... ;)

Harry, your question prompted me to look back thru the Gallery...man, I gotta LOSE those snow covered shots...makes me feel frosty just lookin' at 'em...1st day of spring is Sunday...I think I heard that... ::) 8)
