Mac...3M's Marine Fiberglass Restorer and Wax...GREAT stuff...apply like wax, but it cleans AND removes chalky oxidation...leaves nothin' but shiny, hard surface... ;) ;D...Plus applying it builds muscles!...

Like that Quick Release on the Bimini...gettin' better all the time!... :D 8)...

If its slightly chalky, I use the 3m cleaner polish, and then wax afterwards. I'm not a big fan of the 3m stuff, but it does work if you work hard with alot of rubbing.

If the gel coat is really oxidized, wet sand with 800 - 1200 paper, then compound/3m cleaner wax then wax.

For wax I like collonites fleetwax. I also found Meguiars Gold class auto wax to work great.

For general spring clean up I of black marks, dirt from leaves etc, I like "Roll off" or "Roll away" in some water.
This stuff also cleans vinyl awesome. We use it on a friends Viking all the time. It cleans diesel soot like no tomorrow.

I also use Orpine soap - its the best for day to day cleaning, and wont strip your wax.

I agree MJ - Bleach is great for decks. Not on the wax though.

RAP- you can get it at West Marine etc.

Baking Soda and water should remove quite a bit of crud. I've used peroxide on crusty old fish guts in the past. If it'll break that stuff up after sitting in the sun for s few days, it should bust up spider poop.
