Default Bimini on windscreen

I have a 76 V20 - I really like the Blue bimini (that attached to his windscreen) on Fugazi's 1988. Mine has brackets and snaps left where someone had canvas on it. Where can I get a Bimini like his????????? The option of fitting clear plastic around it for coming in during rain is also appealing????? I am repowering mine with a 115 DI 2002 Evinrude. I am taking off the gas guzzling 1988 John 175. What kind of performance will I get with the 115???

Low 30's with the 115. All depends on prop of course. I'm sure Willy will chime in with his numbers in a few minutes.

The top, keep an eye out. They can be hard to find. One way is to find a V20 for sale that has the top and then try to haggle the seller into letting the top go separately...Good Luck!

Three sided enclosure up, full tank, light to moderate chop with two guys coolers and a super model or two get 33 mph with a 99 Johnson 115 carb, installed new in 2001. Cruise nice around 26 mph. Good on gas too.
Yours with DI and newer should do better numbers, don't think better top end, at least by much. Mine is on a Armstrong Bracket and I believe that increases performance slightly. But I wouldn't want to bet on the difference ;)

Wow, thanks for the info - Willy - what prop pitch am I going to find the best and most neceaasry to get rev's where required? Recommended prop type/brand? I believe the DIs need to be able to turn to max rpm? Now - on the top - it looked like Fugazi's was custom made???? Or did he just get new canvas for it? Can one buy a top - the high bimini type is what I am after - from Overton's, Basspro, Cabelas etc????

The old T-Bird I had prior to V-20 had a top on it from Overtons...worked GREAT!!...just measure how tall it needs to be (I like to be able to stand) from the mounting points and how wide... ;)...
