phester's ride.
Went out on phester's boat last night, thought I'd snap a few pics and post em up.
His rebuilt rod boxes....came out nice!  His custom woodwork (Ipe)  Original Teak refinished   Ah, the warmth of the enclosure     Oh....phester got 1 striper (released), 25"....Tin = skunked....bah!

GREAT PICS, Tin!!...Phester's really done some nice woodwork there...he's obviously a reel craftsman... ;) 8) ...
I forget...what yr mod is his V?...like that one...dash layout is good... 8) ...

Nice boat!!!!!
But that teak would not last 5 min on my boat!! I would have it all banged up, and kicked !! I will leave the pretty boats to you guys, I will trash mine with fish! ;D

Phes that's some really nice work you did there. Hey on your enclosure, do you have problems with the snaps on the side windows? Really only the ones in the rear on the bottom. In the pic it looks like the last one is unsnapped and I was wondering if you have a problem keeping that one snapped? The reason I ask is because I do. Its not really a big problem at all but just bugs the crap outta me. Also, I am unable to take out the back curtain. The side windows want to flap and really come unsnapped then! I thought about some different type of fasteners at one time but have yet to do anything. Nice boat!!

BR, the enclosure was off another "V" and the original snaps did not line up that well with his boat. He had a canvas guy add some new snaps and many of the old ones are not being used (you can see in the last pic).
He does have a bit of an issue getting the enclosure installed (tight fit), but tight is good, right? ;) I'm sure he'll fill you in on more when he sees this thread.
