Default sea drive options

I had a picture of another sea drive repower with a newer eagle series engine, but can't fiind it, here's a picture of a later model looper mounted on a sea drive bracket. It seems to me if you're going to repower a seadrive boat with an OMC product, why not keep the bracket. It has the hydraulic steering built in, and a tilt system that will raise the motor completely out of the water. Just ditch the existing motor and replace with a newer engine, I'm not sure which engines will interchange

Default Re: sea drive options

People have been doing that for a long time!

The problem isn't the motors, its the seadrive parts, many are no longer available so its best getting rid of them.
