when did they change?

What year did wellcraft stop using the plastic molded plates that they rivited on and switch to vynal? Got a call today thinking I found my skools deal, I went to a local marina for my free V only to find a boat sitting on it's hull with the transom falling off. Surprisingly, the rest of the boat appeared solid. With this said understand it has grass growing out of it and a pile of tires in the middle. It does have the winshield and all the original markings IE V20 logo and wellcraft logos and the front slider. I'm just not sure what year it is and neither did the guy at the marina. I'll take the camera and get pics, I also noticed a hole in the side wall, looks like they hit it with the fork lift but the hole doesn't go all the way in. As if you cut a piece of plastic with a knife ie that helps any. I'll get pics not surte this is the project I need right now. Friday is going to Tampa day to pick up a friends 25' new to him aquasport cuddy, taking the camera just for you guys.
