When Biden's mental incapacity was on full display in the first debate Democrats went full panic. Already very unpopular, his obvious decline rendered him virtually unelectable. The Democrats and their donor-handlers had to make a decision on who to install in his place, and choosing anyone other than DEI hire Harris would have put them in a bad light, even though her unpopularity exceeded Biden's. They could not risk an open convention in which RFK Jr would likely have obliterated her, and besides, RFK Jr had distinguished himself as independent of the Democrats/donor-handlers and they were worried that they would not be able to control him the way they controlled Biden. They knew full well that they could count on their media counterparts to remake Harris and obliterate her former and very unpopular far-left positions from the minds of many voters, while also avoiding pressuring her into actually having positions to defend, and avoiding the fact that she has already been in the administration for 3 1/2 years and shares responsibility for its failures and malfeasances. Without a complicit left-wing main stream media, her makeover would have been next to impossible, but since the major media outlets are owned by untra-left leaners that wasn't a risk.

That's how we ended up with Kamala for President. Her administration would subject the nation to a continuation of Biden's many failures and shortcomings, but even farther left if as she says, "my values have changed." Ultimately, however, she will be a puppet just like Biden was and is. Her election would ultimately hasten the downward trajectory of the USA.
