Default Time to winterize my boat

This is just for my friends who live in the north east. I'm going to winterize my boat this weekend. I'm thinking you guys who are south of North Carolina don't need to do that but we do. And that sucks, but I will be getting her ready for the next season as long as that guy keeps the gas flowing. Who knows.

Sure do hate when she has to go to sleep for the winter, sad day. Getting mine ready with my little helper, years ago. I use to keep mine in as long as I could, the marina didn't care as long as you paid for the winter storage. But it was hard when they shut the water off with the first frost, but we still got out for those Stripers. Be careful, be safe and enjoy the winter, to ALL.

when I lived in Raleigh, NC I would winterize 200-300 boats a year depending on the season. Now that I live in Charleston SC, I winterize three or four a year.

Have no comment on winterizing, but glad to see someone still out there. Was thinking I was the on V20er left.

I know a lot of yall keep your boats on moorings, do you put them on trailers for the winter?
What s involved in winterizing an OB , just some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders, maybe drain or check the foot for water, stabile in the fuel?

I guess we are pretty lucky here in southern California we get to boat and fish all year around in the pacific in between storms, although there is a rockfish closure from January to March. Would hate to not be able to take the V20 out all year
