Anybody ever cut into the benches inside the cuddy? I figure I could cut a decent size rectangle and install a plastic hatch cover over it. Maybe stash flares and first aid kit along with some other small essentials. I figure if it cuts right down to the stringers, I slap a little insert box in there.
What say you, gents?

Inside my cuddy on the Pro-Line, all the benches were for storage, on both sides. That's where I kept most of my engine tools, oil, extra filters and so on. It's out of sight, covered by the cushions, but not out of mind.

after spending half a day on the water, i'm reminded of just how little storage these little boats have. i'm also reminded of just how good they are at eating up small wake without jarring my teeth loose. great riding boat. it's been far too long since i've been on the water.
