Just arrived in the mail yesterday. This is gonna be another one of those ‘take my word for it’ posts. As it’s just too dam complicated to post a picture, I’m gonna have to draw you a verbal picture. So I’m not sure how I feel about the big ball handle, but MAN!!! I cranked down the drag and it was dam near impossible to turn the spool by hand! 40 pounds of drag on a 5500 is pretty stout. Ain’t much up by me gonna test that drag, but I can feel it now. 30 pound crevalle. 80 pound tarpon. 15 pound blackfin. 75 pound amberjack, etc……..
You get the idea. Really hoping for a 70 pound dolphin or a 55 pound yellowfin. If this thing doesn’t crap out like most other Chinese Penns….. I’ll be a happy boy.

I think I told ya in another post I've got the Slammer 560, probably 10 years old. Reeled that ~100 lb tiger shark up from 100 ft of water in a hurry before he breached, then took off and cut me off. I was using 80 lb braid.
Also got 2 Penn Spinfisher V 6500's. All great for bottom fishing.
