I have a 1978 and it is just fiberglass to fiberglass , I know sometimes it feels like it is scraping but that is how they made it. I spray silicone on the track to help it slide

Mine had a couple of pieces of black plastic strips that acted as a slide, they finally wore out and have been glass on glass for about 5 years.

the smaller one is supposed to be on plastic slides inside the big one.
Original was black "L" shaped plastic rivetted to big hatch
I used L shaped vinyl channel from HD

The big one just slides on the deck

Default What should I do?

My last trip out last year ( October) my motor started running bad, first we were going out and it sounded like it missed but real quick then about a hour later we were going to go back and she would not start, we tried and got her started but it ran bad like on have the cylinders , and the motor would jump like it was trying to run good, we got back and she runs good on land , today 4/7/21 I started her up and she sounds good , but something was wrong, what should I test or look for. I bought two switch boxes but didn't put them in yet. Any advice will be welcomed
