Default V step waterline

Just purchased a 1981 v step. The boat has not been bottom painted and there is no indication of a waterline. The outboard has been removed. I was hoping somebody could give me measurements to put me close to the water line maybe one at the bow, one at the stern, and one at the helm any help would be appreciated thank you.

I have to ask? Why are you bottom painting your boat? If you are going to leave it in salt water over the season it makes sense, but if it's going to sit on a trailer or sit in fresh water there's really no reason to bottom paint it, and when you go to sell her later on unpainted hulls are more in demand.

It's a quirk of the website. Not your computer. Certain keys cause the symbols you see.

Only does that when i use my IPad
Works ok on laptop

If the hull has a self bailing deck, the thru hulls should be just above the waterline.
Also depends on what engine your going to put on it

Agree with D, don t unless u have to

I***8217;m not bottom painting. I am trying to place a couple reference marks without putting the boat in water.

should be plenty of pictures in the gallery, you may be able to get a good idea of the water line from there
