| What would y'all pay for my t-top

Well my boats still getting the finishing touches on the transom and a guy offered to buy the top off of the boat. Only reason I'm considering it is it's all stainless and very heavy. When we took it out this summer you could hear the stress it was putting on the boat when underway from shaking. So putting an aluminum top would be ideal. Problem is I don't know what my tops worth. It is very heavy duty and seems to be a well built top. It's a universal type. I'll be selling it with the hardtop. Whatcha guys think. I'll include a couple pics to give an idea of what I have.

I can't venture a guess as to what its worth but I would price out what you want to replace it with and then ask the prospective buyer what he is offering. IMO it's always best to go second in price negotiations..

3S, I sold one out of a center console a couple years ago and I got $1,000 for it. I think it ends up being just finding someone who has a need. Good luck.

Stainless steel t-top with hardtop and electronics box is worth 1200 to 1300 dollars all day long or more. Our aluminum tops here on craigslist with soft top go from 700 to 1000 dollars.

Ya gotta love low ballers... They act like their doing you a favor giving you that low price. Half the time they just take the item and resell it for twice what they paid for it. (Ever watch American Pickers or Pawn Starts on TV? I understand that people have to make a living, but they are preying on their victims..... err... customers) That top is worth whatever someone will pay for it. So right now wyou know it's worth $400. But I'm betting that if you put it on Craigslist with a few nice pictures someone will buy it for $1200 or more. (Start at $1400 and let them talk you down to $1200).
