Default Steering leak

I have an internal leak in my steering column I see there's a repair kit with O-rings. Does any one have any experience repairing one.

Depends on which helm you have. There is DOZENS of different helms, and many take different kits. So make sure you can get a full kit and not just a shaft seal before you dive into it. If you do decide to do it, theres youtube videos, and several threads over at THT about doing them.
