Good all around boats, and better looking than most with classic, timeless style.

Real good when used for what it's meant to do.

I've had 4 boats, I'd say this is my favorite.

Had a 94' Mako CC before the V21, couldn't hardly turn around without tripping over something. Had big console, not enough room.

I loved my V 18. Never wound up getting my own v but I did fish on my uncles a bit and I liked it. I'm happy with my 22 WA but that's a different boat all together.

I'm with y'all. Currently own 3 V-20 hulls. Working on getting my place situated where I have maximum storage and work space so I can start doing bigger projects instead of just flipping old hulls. I love seeing others hardcore, cap off, full blown restos. We have some really beautiful examples on this site and some really great members. Would like to see us take it to the next level and see what truly innovative mods and changes could be done to our boats to make them stronger, even more usable, and correct the few small issues all of them seem to have. I've thought about cutting the transom off, extending the stringers, and having a fully integrated, molded in engine bracket/swim platform with flotation instead of just a bolt on model. Also thought of designing one with a smaller cockpit with larger front deck, just two seats further aft, with a more offshore race design. Every time I go out I get compliments on mine. People say they used to have one and wished they never got rid of her, she was the best boat they'd owned, but they traded up to something new and it's no where near the same. For ride, versatility etc. you really have to trade up to a more high end boat these days or a fully restored example of a classic from 30-40 years ago to get better in my opinion.

Hey Steplift, my old V is also a '78. Last week we were down at Harkers Island for a few days and every where we went some one was saying man what a cool boat, what is it? what model is it? Kind of makes all the sweat and $$$ more worth it.
Also fished 2 full days, some running, mostly trolling...filled up and only held 24 gallons.
