Default My fishing weekend, first installment...

This weekend is our community flounder tournament. Today, day one, was marked by Choclate milk to fish in and NW 20 mph most of the day, except for the part where it blew 30. 50 some people fishing caught 4 keepers with Airslot accounting for....KNOTTA, ZIP< ZILCH, and SQUAT. I had 7 throwbacks and a skate. I did catch a nice rod & reel and a set of car keys though. Tomorrow is day two and I got some ground to makeup. i gots a rep to protect you know.

I lost my V-20 hat overboard today, but was able to recover it. First thing through my mind...hat is irreplaceable, one of a kind.

As promised, here is a little fish porn for MJ. Im off to catch a big red drum tonight, then another 11 hours of floundering tomorrow ;D

To finish it off, how aobut a little "boat porn". "Air Time" is locked and loaded at the dock, waiting for me right now. The pulpit is sweet, anchor doesn't rattle at all while running. I'm going to give it its first "action" tonight.

MJ, if this don't do it for ya, check out WET, I'm sure there is something good there ;D

Back to fishin'

'Slot

Wind fell out at dark, water was clearing, so tomorrow looks better. Wind and tide both fell out at dark, bugs got some kinda bad, which is odd, because I froze my tail all day wearing sweatshirt and a heavy flannel. Wind finally came SW and it started to warm a little.

As for my evening fishing, the danged sharks cleaned me out. Ate litteraly all my bait. Musta caught 30 of the rascals, mostly smoothdogs, but some with teeth that looked like small blacktips? All in all, 15 hours today, and can't wait for tomorrow ;D

And REEL, the guy in red is none other than John Hash. Most amazing man you'll ever meet. Turned 80 recently, treated himself to a new Harley, tired of his Goldwind I guess ;D. Plays golf or fishes almost everyday, and he rides that motorcycle most days. He never rode a bike till he was 72 ;D

I hope to have my picture taken tomorrow. ;)

Great Pics. SLot, glad to hear ya having fun. The drums are running good off of lewes. Biggest flounder in Lewes caught was just over six pounds on Friday.
