Default spanish are here.......almost

kind of a slow start to the season, spanish should have been here a week ago according to all the signs, but they are lagging this year.

wife is off for spring break, so we've been trolling last couple of days, nothing on tuesday and after 4 hours on wednesday, this is all we had to show

pretty small and skinny, but legal, so they rode home and we managed to get 8 tacos out of them.

the good news is the new motor LOVES to troll

bradford, my allergies agree with you, even if the fishing doesn't.

you are correct charlie, trolling puts a lot more in the box(when they are here), but casting at the schools are a lot more fun. we catch them every now and then when trout fishing in the summer with live bait. i know some guys who fly fish for them also.

we've got a cold front hitting this weekend, lows 44-highs 65, so they might get delayed another day or two

Ya I've been lucky to catch one inshore while throwing a spoon for trout. Thought it was a trout at first, then while I was trowing him back noticed the hard tail. I think that was early last April here in Jax.
