Smile V20 Restoration Fla

Don't know if this is the right place to post this if not let me know where to put it.... Am new to the forum and will be asking a lot of questions as I go.. Also will be a long drawn out affair (as with any Lady) so be patient..
Am starting to pull floor up today and hope that I don't find anything surprising under there..
Any comments or help will be appreciated... Will post pics as progress goes along

Thanks

Best of luck with her facelift. Just remember that a) You'll find things that you don't want to find, b) They are fixable, c) Don't try to do it all at once. (You can eat an entire elephant if you take little bites over a long period of time) and d) There's a ton of people here that have faced exactly what you are facing and both they and their boats survived.

You'll get through it, we can help.

Agreed, I think sometimes we take for granted this unbelievable resource we have. Tell me one other model boat owner that can search a forum and see the guts of the exact same boat they have and then see how a multitude of people have tackled the fix.....unbelievable really.

Come on back down and show me some of your snook holes. Oh, sorry there, welcome aboard. We love pictures. Cuddy and centers, even duallys. When I took the liner off I found numerous hooks, leads, a chip brush full of resin that was stuck to a stringer, lots of rot, and a good bit of bare wood. Don't mean to scare the newbie but these boats were punched out on an assembly line. Having said that, I agree, read up on the topic, and dive right in. Pictures, yes yes. I will consult as well if you need opinions... LOL!!
