Default Boat Cover Options

Happy New Years Eve to everyone! Have a question about a boat cover for my '87 V-20 Step Lift. Instead of shrink wrapping it each year I've chosen to park it under a new metal carport and need to cover it to keep debris out. Does anyone have advise on a custom/semi custom or anything else that would work. Doesn't have to be fancy just looking for and alternative to a blue tarp.

Thanks!
Steve

Im sure others will post later but i remeber reading a post on here when i first signed up on here about a pool cover that was oval shaped that fit our v20 perfect for like 50.00 dollars. Try the search option on this site to find the thread

Yep, Kracker nailed it perfectly. Buy an OVAL winter pool cover. http://www.nationalpoolwholesalers.com Get the good one (the 15 year kind) It comes with a steel cable to secure it to the boat. Just remember that pool covers have an additional 3-4' for the sides of a pool, so a 12 x 24 cover is really 20 x 32. More than enough to fit over a V and give it all the cover it needs. Far superior to those blue tarps that only last a year or so.

Use a pool noodle or two, slit lengthwise and fit it over the top of your windshield so there are no sharp corners for the cover to wear on.

That what I did, I add a vent in the back of the pool cover and built a pvc frame for it to support the cover
