Default Happy Thanksgiving!

This is a THE time to give thanks for all we have.

First, I want to thank the big man upstairs.

Then MJ and Valiant and anyone else that keeps this site up and running. It is a breath of fresh air from some of the other boating sites. I check in daily and it is a bit of therapy for me, so Thank You and keep up the good work...

Next, I want to just say I am so thankful to still be here to enjoy my friends and family. It has been a heck of a ride. To my wife who has been strong enough for the both of us and my daughter who has had to put up with her dad being sick and all of life's little delays.

Finally, I want to give my best wishes to everyone on the site. May the Holidays find you happy, healthy and enjoying what you love the most. Friends, family, fishing, whatever the case...
Happy Thanksgiving!

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.

as this will be my second thanksgiving without my dad, it's lost a bit of it's sparkle for me. it's still my favorite holiday and this year is a special one for me. not only does my birthday fall on the holiday this year but it will mark one year to the day I quit smoking. took me 35 years to quit but I think it took this time. i'd like to stick around for a while longer. 9 years and 2 days till retirement.
enjoy the day, boys. it's the best holiday there is. happy and healthy to all.
