Sometimes it's two steps back...one forward

Work today on the boat was not particularly productive - reminded me of the saying two steps forward, one back......felt more like one forward, two back today.

Various do over's and such on mostly minor things.

Matching color in paint or gel coat can be difficult, but not impossible.

Recently paint store did not come close enough for my liking on two tries.

I then started myself with high gloss white acrylic, and added a VERY small amount of the gel coat red additive, a few molecules at a time. Finally, a match, as good as I hoped for. Now I can install the new low profile swivel seats on these new bases that match the interior gel coat color. Nice.

Winter means enough time to take time, go slow, do jobs to complete satisfaction.
