Default Winter Walleye#3

Three generations headed out in search of some walleye for supper tomorrow. The bet for the smallest fish buys supper tonight on the way home( Dad). Kalum got the biggest Walleye at 4Lbs I got the biggest ling and pike. We did pretty good and got four nice Eyes and an ok pike for sup, the weather finally changed up here so the wind blew at about 25Mph today instead of the cold. The walleye were the darkest shad I have ever seen in this lake they were blackish underneath there bellies with heavy dark bars on there sides. The pics didn't show the how dark there realy were. Slave lake is known for the Golden walleye witch one in a thousand are almost pure gold with no olive tones or markings a very cool looking fish.
