Default First outing this year, fishing with Grandkids

Finally had a chance to take the boat out. My son and his son and daughter went out yesterday morning. I would have liked to gone out earlier and try for stripers, but we had guests over and stayed up late. Anyhow went out near cleveland ledge and caught a couple good size black sea bass before they were more interested in snacks and going for another boat ride.

It was nice to spend time with them, I should have taken pictures of them fishing, but I was pretty busy baiting hooks and taking fish (scupp\sea robins too) off.

Not sure why the picture link isn't working, but here are the fish (not that exciting.

yup.

Had them last night, very tasty.

The last time I had BSB, they were probably just over size limit. didn't really seem worth the effort of cleaning. These were definitely worth it.
