Youtube video of motor starting up today (5/24/13): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yk8rtY5pgWU Location: MA I'm selling my boat and figured I'd start here. I believe the boat is from 83 or 84. It has a 2003 Suzuki (Not Yamaha) DF115. The previous owner was a good family friend and barely put any hours on the motor. He said that the oil change warning went off one time. I've used the boat for a block island trip, two trips to Newport, and a few cruises around the bay. I don't think I even hit 100 hours of use with it. So it is somewhere between 500 and 600 hours of use. The oil has been changed each year before use. The motor still runs great. The V20 is in good shape and shouldn't need too much TLC. After doing research on this website, I decided to take the gas tank (time bomb) out. I spent two hot summer days trying to get that damn thing out. Even after using a power washer, I was unsuccessful. It's still in there with no gas. I bought a poly tank to bypass the ticking time bomb. The overall structure of the boat is good. It's been covered every winter. The floor is good with the exception of the panel covering the old gas tank. It has some give too it but still able to support plenty of weight. Also included is the loadrite trailer. The left fender is cracked (see pic). Other than that, all the other lights are working. I do love this boat but we are a young family and I'd rather see it go to someone that can use it and keep up with ongoing maintenance. I'm looking to get $3000 for the boat and the trailer. *There is also a bimini top, sides, and rear. The top is in rough shape and ripped a while back. I repaired it myself so that it could still function. The sides are in okay shape, but need to be sewed around the zippers. The back is in great shape. I will upload pics once I get a chance. A potential buyer prompted me to double check the hours with my father. Turns out our friend who owned it before us had the oil warning come on at 20 hours - not 500... My father told me how to check the hours and it only has 180 on it. The youtube link below shows me checking it.
