Default BOAT RECYCLERS OF WILMINGTON

Do you NC boys know anything about the BOAT RECYCLERS OF WILMINGTON??? Do they have a good reputation? Would you buy a motor from them?

Thanks, Steve

Hmmm, you been doing some research I see. I've been looking at them for a few months now. They seem so sell some all right stuff. At least I havent heard anything bad about them. They ship motors out. Even seen a few with warranties.

Check their eBay feedback really good. I don't think they have 100%, so inevitibly there is some risk. But, any used motor (and new for that matter) comes with some amount of risk.

Maybe they do have 100%, I can't remember, but I'd look through what other buyers have to say to find out.

They have a very good feedback score (99.6% out of 3145 transactions). Not too shabby. I'll keep my eye on them. I was combing through the feedback to find the two negatives and got tired of looking. Too many good comments to wade through, which is a good thing...

Thanks guys.

I've bought lots of goodies from them and they have a good reputation as far as I know and they know the business . I got a lower unit from them for a 150 merc that was only $650, pressure tested it and threw in an old prop for free. I had a poor condition jet pump for a 115 merc and they gave me $300 cash . I bought a mint condition evinrude 1972 6hp for my duck boat for $200 and they even cleaned up the carb for me free .They do a lot of Ebay sales and recently bought the building next door just for Ebay customers. IF I needed a used outboard I would run over and pick one up and I dont think you can beat their prices ..Frank
