Default Fished the Cape May Reef today - Sunday

My son and I trailered down around 10am today, launched from the ramp behind Jims Bait & Tackle.....

Nice ride out to the CM Reef about 10 miles with an easy 3 - 4 swell.

Caught 5 keepers - happily, my 18 year old son caught the biggest at 24.5" nice and fat.

Great day.

Good job. Not too familiar with your neck of the woods, What is CM reef (assuming a sunken ship) and what kind of fish?

That's the Cape May Reef approx. 10 miles out from the inlet.
Fishing in about 65'

Makes trailering worth it............the ability to fish different places.
This year I've fished mostly further north - upper New Jersey coast because the Striper bite was so good this year. Lots of fluke further south so we headed down. All it takes is a good trailer, and lots of fuel...........gulp, gulp.

By the way - we saw several V's yesterday - at the dock, at the ramp, and out on the water too........

At the ramp it was a V20 with side curtains and I believe a 115hp outboard.

It's like when you own a certain car - then you notice the others on the road.
