Default Lobster Mini - FL Keys 2012

Aside from a little rain last Sunday the weather was perfect.
Stayed at Plantation Key Colony and got to bully net some Spiny Lobster.

Wound up with 16 opening night and a total of 26 for the three night event. First night began at 12:01 Wed morning and stayed out til 5am.
I lost more than I care to admit. Lots thrown back because they didn't measure up. More netters this year than last. More limits for divers this year because of near perfect weather. Did battle with two lobster I spotted under a mangrove tree. Both escaped but talk about fun. Mom, DAD, Daughter, Wife and I were wore out but had a great vacation. Motor quit shifting Thurs. night but by then the lobster were gun-shy as could be. LOL.. Luckily the ole' 90 horse found forward gear and we made it back to the landing without getting stranded.
NV boat, very stable even with 5 people walking around.NV ONTO Trailer 008.jpg
