I have looked high and low I can't seem to find the ser # for my eng can any one point out where it should be?

3.7 l4 165 hp 1985

Also having trouble locating a manual for my eng. Web site please.

I've got an '89 3.7, and the serial # is on a metal tag pinned to the starboard side of the block at the rear, and also have the serial # on the plastic cover on top of the spark arrestor.
