Well its a trade off either get up at 3:30AM or leave at noon and get home later.One thing is you miss the AM bite but the evening bite has less boats heading to the honey hole.
Nice bite at Long Branch area friday birds and bunker working along with stripers and blues, finished up with enough time to get back to ramp in the light. All stripers were keepers with a couple at the 24lbs mark!! Blues are the typical racer style big heads and slender body this time of year. But lots of fun, till they chop off your jigs. Still plenty of time left, hoping to make the 40lb club this year.

![]() very nice. I'm itching to go... May is always prime for big bass on live bunker. delayed the launch cause I'm taking trip down to Florida this week for some sworfishing and mahi trolling
