Default Charleston, S.C. trip

Hey Spare, I came down your way early this week. Eight of us from Nucor Steel Hertford Co. went down to Nucor Berkley Mill to look at some equipment like we're buying here. We drove down Monday and stayed at the Comfort Suites at Mount Pleasant. While in the parking lot I noticed two nice V20s in the fenced in area behind the hotel. We got up early Tuesday morning, spent most of the day at the Berkley Mill and came back that evening. Had a nice trip, met some really nice folks and got to see a sister mill and some nice country. If Id had more time I'd a called you up, maybe next time.

you should have giving me a shout out, btw the river up near the Nucor plant is pretty hot with reds right now, you should have taken your fishing rod with you, if you could see across the river and see a boat ramp from the plant, that's where Reel and i were test running his V when the lower unit puked. there's a bunch of v's around here, I'll have to see which ones you found. Let em know next time you come down.

Yep! I wish I would have had more time, but riding with seven other guys and a tight schedule didn't give me any spare time. The next time I come down I'll bring my wife and fishing gear and plan on staying a few days. It looks like a nice place and the people were really nice to all of us there. I like the palm trees and the water everywhere. Wow, it was a loooooong trip down though, took us a good six hours to get there.

I can drive six hours standing on my head. It took us 12 hours from here. And even at that it was worth the trip. Can't wait to get down again.

my friends just got back from the "king of Hammers" race in Johnson Valley, Ca. They had to drop some people off in Tenn, I think he said 44 hours straight thru from Ca to SC, oh and most of that was towing a 4000 lb jeep and a 6000 lb buggy on a goose neck behind a 99 F350, he said they weren't weighing anything or checking mileage, they had some place to be
