Got out today with my sister. Talked her into it over turkey yesterday.
Ran south again past Seaside Park. Ended up 20 miles south out of Manasquan Inlet before we got into bass. They were off Island Beach State Park south of the bathing beach. The reports say that they are catching them all long the coast but there were head boats out of Shark River inlet all the way down there. They don't waste fuel to run 25 miles just to give the fares a scenic ride. We got into them pretty good and several times we were both hooked up at once. They were nice fish from 26" to 38". Easily got our limit and released the bigger ones. My sister got a 20 pounder which is her biggest bass ever. Headed out again tomorrow for some catch & release to finish out the season. Pulling the SkunkBoat on Sunday.
