Try doing a search. A few guys have had some good ideas about this in the past. I'm was in the big blue tarp camp, but after the time, effort, and MONEY to get my V back up to speed I should be looking at a climate controlled indoor storage building.

LOL @ bradford
(But oh soooooo true)As to the cover, if you're looking for a mooring cover most of those are custom fit by local vendors. If you're looking for a winter cover, then you can use the big blue tarp, or get it shrink wrapped, or you can buy an oval winter pool cover. All will do the same thing, namely keep your pride and joy protected from the harsh winter climate. Personally, I like the pool covers... they last lots longer than the others, usually cost less, and they come with a steel cable and winch to tighten the cover after it's installed. Just my opinion, I'm sure others have other opinions.

![]() ![]() ...That's funny!!..Wolf...are you looking to cover it in the yard or as you say actually on a mooring anchor?....in the yard, I'd vote the pool cover mentioned above...if you are looking to leave it covered while in the water over the winter, you really need to hire a seasoned canvas shop and tell them what you plan to do...remember the word; SUPPORT!!...

But if you want to cover the V and YOUR TRAILER Mr. Krinkle said he'd lend you one of his condoms. He had a new case made just for the cruise.
