Default polar boats

my son is thinking of buying a 19 foot polar, I dont know anything about them, I tried to get him to get a wellcraft but he found this boat and its in great shape . I think its a 2003 year,
anybody know anything about them. thanks any replys would be appriciated. I know i spelled that wrong, im a truck driver lol at least i think i did
p.s. its a center console

Is he looking at the skiffs? tell him to ride in one before he buys it. The Polar, Southern Skimmer, Carolina Skiff, etc are all good skiffs, but be aware they ride and drive different from regular boats. If he's happy with the way they ride and drive, Polar is a middle of the line manufacture. I've seen some issues with their nicer boats(regular style boats with fiberglass liners), but the people I've seen with them seem to be happy

They are pretty common around here. A good friend had one and it was a solid little boat but rode a little rough and was wet.

Is that reference to a V-hull or flat bottom?...the V oughtta ride pretty good...my dealer up here handles Polar and they usually sell pretty good boats...I saw about an 18-19'er at the beach for sale last week...had ROUND bolsters for backrests...

His was an 19 v hull. like I said it was ok but wet...didnt ride nearly as smooth or dry as my old girl
