Default Keys

i think i lost my keys i belive my nephew had them on his bumper when we went to the water. my question is are they universal keys or do i have to get one made from a locksmith

Mine are universal I just needed the number on the key....

Lesson learned...not just for boat, but everything that requires a key...

keepit, I know that doesn't solve your present situation...what type key-switch you have?...dash mounted or in the control?...if in the control box, what make?...if a Yam, OMC, Merc, etc, a local dealer may be able to help you get going again...

Shoot, couple of my boats have a lanyard permanently attached so as to not lose them. Figured it's already too easy to steal a boat if you know how.
If I don't have a duplicate, I do got the numbers wrote down for each one.

i found them my 2 year old daughter stole them and my wife found them in the toy box thanks for all the help guys
