Default Bolster seats!

The best mod in my opinion! Bolster seats! Very comfortable, and you can stand and lean or sit and bounce. Great for all conditions. The seats are from Flounderpounder, I think. They were new surplus and came out of a 110 thousand dollar Searay. Very high quality. I made the base it's just plywood with glassed over seams. The base works for storage. I am redoing the temporary base I used last year for the helm, once it's done I'll post more pictures.

Very nice. Do I see correctly that there is a lid which closes over the open portion of the base?

No lid. It's just open. It's a good place to drop stuff quickly that you don't want to roll around the boat. I think what your seeing is the actual back of the seat, it has a hard plastic/foamy type something (?) for a back, I just left it and painted it to match, that's why there are the two little holes. They are vent holes for the foam in the seat, I think.

When I finish the helm seat, I'll post pictures, it has a cover and a seat facing backwards.

Give me two weeks. It should be done by then.

Since you're the observant one, I'm sure you noticed the motor cover says 150 but my signature says 200. hmmm. Which do you think it is?

From previous posts I believe you have 200 ponies lurking beneath the 150 cowling.

Looks great. I would like to find a cheap one swivel one.
